Millenium Hotel Labuan happens to be another corner block hotel located right in the heart of Labuan town. At the same block of shoplot also houses another two hotels which are Oriental Hotel and Pulau Labuan 1.

International Ferry Terminal is only about 5-10 minutes walk across a block of shops and a cab ride to the airport wont take you more than 15 minutes. Hotel Millenium Labuan is still fairly new but getting a room here seems to be quite a task as they always seem to be fully occupied during the weekends.

They don’t have a coffee house unlike Mariner Hotel but just outside the hotel there are a few places to eat in Labuan that will fill you up. Right behind this hotel is actually a taxi stand and for those who are going places, this will be a conveniently cheap hotel to consider. Mariner Hotel Labuan claims to have 60 fully air conditioned rooms and some parking space on the ground floor. If you are coming with a car or even a rented one then this will be a useful facility. It also houses a coffee house on the ground floor but don’t expect it to be a big one. All rooms are equipped with a colour TV and a mini bar for your comfort.

Mariner Hotel is only a 2-Star hotel located right in town with about only a five minutes walk to Labuan Financial Park. They also have a conference room that can accommodate approximately 35 people. To get to the airport from here by cab probably only takes you a mere 10 minutes ride without the traffic (as in most of the case )

Mariner Hotel Entrance

Sara Hotel Labuan is situated right behind the old abandoned Hotel Labuan. It is probably only a five minutes walk from the hotel to the Labuan Public Librabry. A further five to ten minutes walk will take you to Financial Park Labuan (Ujana Kewangan Labuan) where you can find the LOFSA office.
Since this hotel is in town itself, catching a cab to the Labuan Airport would not be much of a problem. There are also a few banks nearby such as Standard & Chartered Bank, Hong Leong Bank, Hong Kong Bank, Public Bank and AM Bank Labuan. This Hotel is a stand alone block a few storeys high only with the convenience of a lift, in case if you are wondering whether you are going to carry your luggage up the stairs or not .

Melati Inn is an inn right in Labuan town just about a stone’s throw away from Labuan’s only Esso petrol refueling station. It is only about five minutes walk from the International Ferry Terminal for international departures and Port View Restaurant.
For those who are budget conscious then this might be an alternative choice to try out. The rooms are fairly cheap and low cost and they have only three categories of room to choose from. The reception counter is located on the first floor and that means “yes” you do need to carry your luggage up the stairs . There is also a restaurant right below the hotel for anyone who needs to fill their empty stomachs.
A taxi ride from here to the airport probably only takes a 10 minute ride without any traffic. Traffic isn’t really much of a problem here in Labuan anyway.

Budget Hotels in Labuan

Hotel Ambassador 1 is located right behind Labuan Supermarket and it is another corner block hotel about three storeys in height. There is also a Shop N’ Save store in the vicinity but don’t expect to find top quality merchandise there. Labuan is not really a place to go shopping except for some beer and hard liquor. If you are a lover of chocolates then there might be some variety available here in Labuan. If you enjoy cars then they only come cheap here but lacking in variety.
