Rumbia Tree Maggot / Butot

Butot…. ahhhhh!!! A local delicacy that can be eaten raw. These rumbia tree maggots or ulat rumbia seems to be starchy on the inside and when cooked it will shrink in size. These butot/maggots worms are thumb sized when still wriggling around. Enjoy  🙂
